Biography |
Trevor Wright is an American actor who is a talent on the
rise with his breakthrough role in the 2007 film Shelter.
From his recurring role on George Lopez and guest starring
in television series such as NYPD Blue, Scrubs and Boston
Public, in 2003, Trevor was named by Teen Vogue as a "young
and upcoming star that's here to stay".
Wright also made an impression starring opposite his cousin
singer Stacie Orrico in the videos for her singles Stuck
(2003), and I Could Be The One (2004). However this was not
his first involvement in music videos, his very first break
having been in 1989, alongside fellow actor Elijah Wood, in
the video for Paula Abdul's single Forever Your Girl,
directed by David Fincher.
Wright's latest leading role is in the movie Vicious Circle
(currently screening at the New York International Latino
Film Festival (NYILFF)), where he stars as the character
Fin. He will also be the lead actor in Vacancy 2, the
prequel to the 2007 film Vacancy, which is due for a
straight to DVD release on January 20, 2009.
Trevor is a diehard athlete who enjoys skateboarding,
snowboarding, surfing and other extreme type activities.
Trevor continues to reside in his native Los Angeles,
California.
