Biography |
Tahmoh Penikett is a Canadian actor best known for his role
as Karl "Helo" Agathon on the Sci Fi Channel's Peabody
Award-winning television program Battlestar Galactica, which
ended production in 2009.
He also co-stars in Joss Whedon's series Dollhouse on FOX.
Penikett currently lives in Vancouver, as do his father and
sisters.
In support of the Babz Chula Lifeline for Artists Society,
which is raising money for their friend and fellow Canadian
actor Chula's cancer treatment, Penikett and his Battlestar
Galactica colleague Kandyse McClure auctioned off the
opportunity to have dinner with both of them in Vancouver in
April 2008. |

His character Helo in the Battlestar Galactica miniseries
was not supposed to return for the regular run of the show.
Audience response to Helo was so strong the producers
created an entire subplot for the character in the second
series, set on the destroyed homeworld of Caprica. |
