Biography |
Sebastian Siegel was born in Oxford, England. His father is
Indian religions professor and Pulitzer nominated author,
Lee Siegel. His grandfather, Leonard Thompson, was a
lifelong opponent of discrimination and apartheid, and a
founding member of the South Africa Liberal Party.
Siegel began studying drama at 7, won the drama prize at
Kent School (Ted Danson, Treat Williams also studied), and
was accepted to attend college at the age of 14 to study
acting upon recommendations of drama professors.
Siegel has appeared on over 50 magazine covers including
Men's Fitness and Muscle & Fitness. He has been photographed
for Italian Vogue by Stephen Meisel, by David La Chapelle,
and been painted by Joanne Garre for a billboard in Times
Square and the side of a building in Chicago. He rented a
room from his grandmother after moving to LA and later lived
out of his car.
Siegel owns a home above Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood. He
is currently directing a documentary feature film. |
