Biography |
Scott Michael Bailey (aka "Bailey") was born on December
16th (Sagittarius) near St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up in
Illinois, has lived in Germany, New Mexico and California.
Scott is currently living in New York where he stars in the
role of Sandy on GUIDING LIGHT (CBS).
Scott is ambidextrous, plays piano, sings, and is fluent in
German, Spanish, and sign language. His hobbies include
Martial Arts, writing, watching films, working out, yoga and
boxing. He enjoys a good cup of coffee and is a voracious
reader.
Bailey most recently starred in the Lifetime movie "Just Ask
My Children" opposite Virginia Madsen and has appeared on
many television shows, including "Walker Texas Ranger",
"Chicken Soup For The Soul" and MTV's "Undressed."
When Scott lived in Los Angeles, he worked at Universal
Studios as the star of both live action shows "Terminator 2:
3D" as well as "Spiderman." |

After receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering from New
Mexico State University, Bailey worked as a mechanical
engineer for the Department of Energy. While studying to
receive his doctorate degree from UCLA, Bailey decided to
postpone his studies in order to pursue another interest -
acting.
His mom worked for the government as an Army nurse.
Lived in Europe for seven years when he was younger.
He did a promotional tour for Cover Girl magazine.
Played the role of Sandy Foster on Guiding Light since
August 2003. In February 2006, Bailey announced he decided
not to renew his contract with the soap after only three
years. He is scheduled to last air in March.
He is originally from Florissant, Missouri. He has also
lived in Mt. Vernon, Illinois; Augsburg, Germany;
Albuquerque, New Mexico and Los Angeles. |
