Biography |
Michael Cassidy (born March 20, 1983 in Portland, Oregon),
is an American film and television actor.
Cassidy is perhaps best known for his role as Zach Stevens
throughout the second season of the television series The
O.C.; his character had an on-again/off-again relationship
with Summer Roberts. Cassidy also has a role in the movie
Zoom. In 2007, Cassidy starred as Cliff Wiatt in CW
television program, Hidden Palms.
Cassidy will join the cast of Smallville for at least six
episodes in Season 7, as the new editor of the Daily Planet
and possible love interest for Lois Lane. |

Grew up in Portland, Oregon.
Studied for two years at New York's New Actors' Workshop.
He went to Los Angeles in 2004 to audition for Superman
Returns (2006). He didn't get the part but impressed McG,
then the film's director and an executive producer of "The
O.C." (2003), who got him an audition.
