Biography |
Kostas Martakis is a popular up and coming Greek singer who
was born in Athens, Greece. He is signed to Sony BMG Greece
and, as of recently, Sony BMG Russia.
Kostas Martakis competed in the Greek National Final with a
song by Dimitris Kontopoulos with lyrics by Vicky
Gerothodorou. The title was "Always and Forever". Currently
they are also writing a Russian version of the song. The
song Pop-Rock style version of the song was originally
supposed to be performed at the National Final, but the
Dance version was chosen instead by Martakis and his label.
Martakis will also release this song with Sony BMG Russia as
a CD Single.
Kostas is currently recording his second Greek language
album, set for release later this year. He has also recorded
a Greek cover called "Fila Me" of the Spanish song "Torre de
Babel" by David Bisbal for which a video had been made and
was released as a digital single. The video sees Kostas
dancing in a field with a mysterious woman and standing in
the sea with her. |
