Biography |
Jason Lewis is an American actor and former model.
He was a model, first in Paris and then with star status in
Milan in the late 1990s for some of the biggest designers in
fashion, including Guess?, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss.
He appeared in a cameo on Beverly Hills 90210 in 1997, and
his most prominent role to date was in Sex and the City,
where he was a fairly regular member of the show's cast in
its final season, repeatedly showing off his prized physique
-included the bared buns- [1] as emerging young actor and
waiter Smith Jerrod, the one guy whose honesty got to
man-eating nymphomaniac Samantha.
He joined the WB's supernatural drama: Charmed, where he
played the recurring role of Dex Lawson, a love interest
(and brief husband) of Phoebe Halliwell's played by Alyssa
Milano.
It has been rumored that the blonde, blue eyed, 6'1" Lewis
is set to play He-Man in a new film adaptation of the
popular 1980s character to be directed by John Woo, but so
far, nothing is official. |

Just as his "Sex and the City" (1998) character, he also
waited tables, though he claims he had never got as much
attention as Smith does.
Although he appeared in Derek Zoolander: Male Model (1996)
(TV) at the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards (1996) (TV), and in
Derek Zoolander University (1997) (TV) at the 1997 VH1
Fashion Awards (1997) (TV), he is nowhere to be seen in
Zoolander (2001). However he was mentioned by Ben Stiller in
Zoolander-related interviews.
Grew up in Los Alamitos and attended Los Alamitos High
School.
Has two sisters Kate and Nicole; and an older brother Sean. |
