Jason Dundas is an Australian television personality, MTV
Australia VJ and presenter on Australian lifestyle program
Getaway.
Dundas was born in Western Sydney, Australia and attended
Jamison High School before commencing a graphic arts degree
at the University of Western Sydney.
Dundas' career began in 2002 when he auditioned through MTV
during a nationwide search for "The next MTV VJ", his
"confidence and creative approach to the interview" securing
him the deal. After making it into the final five and
sailing through a series of additional screen tests, Dundas
was offered the coveted VJ position.
During his time at MTV Dundas co-hosted the channel’s
flagship daily show, Total Request Live and more recently
co-hosted MTV Australia's Full Tank, a music lifestyle show.
When asked how life has changed since his career in
entertainment, Dundas replied, "Most things stayed the same;
I still party my ass off and hang out at the beach all day
with mates cooking up BBQ’s watching the occasional sunset
in my Reggies with a nice bottle of red."
Since his VJ gig with MTV Australia, Dundas has developed an
extensive female following, something he describes as
"surprising, because I didn't develop in highschool, I was
shorter than all the other guys and everyone picked on me." |
