Biography |
James Sutton (born 31 January 1983) is an English television
actor, best known for playing the part of John Paul McQueen
in British Channel 4 series Hollyoaks since September 2006.
Sutton was born as James Cook in Sutton Coldfield to father
Steve and mother Jeanette. He is the oldest of three
children, with a younger brother Ben aged 20, and sister Amy
aged 14.
Sutton derived his stage name from his birth town, Sutton
Coldfield. He attended The Burton Borough School in
Newport,Telford, Shropshire.
He is currently managed by Rossmore Personal Management,
based in London.
He lives with his on-screen Hollyoaks' sister Jacqui Malota
played by Claire Cooper as roommates, as stated on the
backstage tour on the official Hollyoaks website. |

Other Information |
His small-screen ambition began when he was a child
performing in primary school plays. He then progressed
through youth theatre and into drama school before landing
the roles on Dream Team 80s and Hollyoaks.
