Biography |
Ethan Peck is an American actor. He is best known for his
work in the ABC Family network television series 10 Things I
Hate About You, where he plays Patrick Verona.
Peck attended private schools in North Hollywood. He
excelled in athletics and learned to play classical cello.
Peck is the son of Stephen Peck (a former actor, documentary
film maker, and Vietnam veteran, who works as the Community
Development Director for the United States Veterans
Initiative), and the abstract artist Francine Matarazzo. He
has one sister, Marisa Matarazzo, who is a fiction writer.
Peck is the grandson of the late legendary actor Gregory
Peck.
After high school, Peck attended the Tisch School of the
Arts at New York University, enrolling in the Experimental
Theater Wing for 3 years, before leaving to further his
growing acting career. |

Grandson of Gregory Peck
In high school he played varsity lacrosse and football, and
was on the varsity track team.
He studied classical cello for six years.
He is the son of artist Francine Matarazzo and Stephen Peck,
Community Development Director for U.S.VETS. His sister,
Marisa Matarazzo, is a writer.
He received the best actor award at the 2009 Sonoma
International Film Festival for his role as "Sailor" in the
film "Adopt a Sailor.".
He attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts from 2004 - 2008
and studied theater in the Experimental Theater Wing (ETW)
program there.
