Biography |
Eralp Uzun, born July 2, 1981, in Berlin, is a German actor
of Turkish descent.
Uzun started his acting career in 1998 in a minor part in
the acclaimed German drama "Nachtgestalten" (Night Shapes).
In the following years, Uzun starred in several minor roles
in TV series such as "Sternenfänger," "Schulmädchen," and
the award winning sit-com "Alle lieben Jimmy."
In 2007, Uzun landed his breakthrough role in the
controversial movie "Straight." He plays Nazim - a closeted
gay man trying very hard to keep up an appearance of
straightness. |
