Biography |
Digo Padovan is a model, dancer and choreographer from
Brazil.
Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he started his career
as a gymnast, competing in international sport aerobic
competitions as a member of the Brazilian team. Digo won the
world championship six times, and participated in an
exposition performance at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. As
a dancer he toured with numerous Brazilian artists;
transitioning into choreography. He choreographed a special
for MTV Brazil featuring Julio Iglesias and Thalia. He also
choreographed many gymnastic champions in world
competitions.
Since he moved to Los Angeles Digo has worked with Niki
Harris, Deborah Cox, Kristine W, Shakira, Toni Braxton,
Black Eyed Peas, Mary J Blige, David Lachapelle, Keri Lewis,
Jamie King, Guy Ritchie and Madonna. He made his musical
theatre debut in The Ten Commandments featuring Val Kilmer,
following with the best of Broadway Pippin. In his spare
time, he travels teaching dance, modeling and producing
showcases in countries around the world including, Brazil,
Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Japan, Australia and the
United States.
Today you can see Digo in an IPOD Rockstar print, H&M
clothing commercials, Pepsi, Cirque du Soleil special events
and featured in the Nike industrials. In Brazil he was
signed with Kappa to direct and choreograph many industrial
events. Working as a director, he just finished a production
of a music video for a new up coming artist Rodrigo Morrato.
Digo is currently working with Toni Braxton in Las Vegas and
eaching dance at Le Reve and Pro Dance Studio. |
