If "expressing themselves in a more physical manner" is easier for men outside the US, then why don't more non-US gay players come out of the closet? Those that do generally wait until the end of their career or retirement. One kiss on the cheek does NOT mean homophobia isn't alive and well.

Sorry, but David is not gay. Neither is Anthony Watmough, who is happily married with two children. They're simply not homophobic and were kissing cheek-to-cheek. Expressing themselves in a more physical manner seems to be something it is easier for men in countries outside of the United States to do. It doesn't mean they're gay, it just means they're comfortable and not everyone else is freaked out about it.
