Biography |
David Degen (born February 15, 1983 in Hölstein) is a Swiss
footballer currently playing for FC Basel. He played for FC
Aarau and FC Basel before joining Borussia Mönchengladbach
in 2006. However, after the club's relegation into the 2nd
Bundesliga, Borussia manager Jos Luhukay sorted him out of
the squad. David Degen joined his former club FC Basel for a
year on loan. He has a contract at M'gladbach until June 30,
2009.
Degen mostly plays as a right midfielder. He was selected
for the Swiss 2006 World Cup squad. However, he only played
in the warmup games.
His twin brother Philipp Degen currently plays for Borussia
Dortmund. |
