Biography |
David Charvet is an actor and singer. David's father is
Tunisian-born Jewish businessman Paul Guez (Guess? Jeans).
His mother, Christiane Charvet, was born in France. He and
his siblings grew up speaking French as their first
language. When David was nine years old, his father moved to
the USA. He won a green card through the "Morrison visa
lottery" in the early 1990s. He is currently based in his
native France where he acts and sings, and is seen on TV.
He dated co-star Pamela Anderson prior and during the second
season of Baywatch. He has never married. He is currently
dating model-actress Brooke Burke.
David Charvet (as he became known, apparently using his
mother's maiden name as his professional name) caught his
big break in 1992 on Baywatch as "Matt Brody" and remained
with the show for three full seasons until 1995. Charvet
also appeared as "Craig Field" on Melrose Place from 1996 to
1998.
He has released 3 albums in the past ten years and is
currently working on his fourth to be released in September
2006, "So we meet again". |

"Guess" jeans. David evidently goes by his mother's maiden
name, which is quite frequent in the entertainment business
(e.g. Shelley Winters, Madeline Kahn, etc.)

Hobbies include music, charities, sport and race car
driving.
After graduating from high school, he was spotted by a
photographer and his modeling career took off. Moving toward
show-business, he signed with the prestigous "Elite Model
Management" and by age 18 he landed national print campaign
ads for "Bugle Boy" casual wear, "Levi's" , "Miller's
Outpost" and "Coca-Cola".
Third album "Se laisser quelque chose" released in France in
2004. (English to be released later)
He is of Tunisian-Jewish and French descent.
David and Brooke Burke are expecting their first baby
