Biography |
Daniel Cudmore is a Canadian actor best known for his role
as the Russian mutant Colossus in the X-Men movies.
Born in Vancouver, BC to British parents, Cudmore is the
middle of three boys, all over 6' 5" tall. He stands at 6'
8" tall and wear US size 16 shoes. He grew up in Squamish,
British Columbia (south of Whistler). He performed a variety
of theatre roles in school and local productions,
particularly improvisational theatre.
Cudmore was awarded a football scholarship to Gannon
University in Erie, Pennsylvania, but after breaking his leg
in a football game two years into his liberal arts degree,
he returned to Vancouver and continued with his acting
studies, appearing in commercials and in the background of
television shows.
His brother is professional rugby player Jamie Cudmore.
In his free time he works hard in the gym and rides his
motorbike. |
