Biography |
A dynamic and charismatic actor whose performances have
stirred the minds of fans and critics alike, Dan Wells is
truly an emerging talent among the Hollywood ranks.
Dan is currently part of the main cast of NBC's top-rated
daytime drama, "Days of Our Lives." He plays the role of
Stan, Sami Brady's alter ego. A devious and emotional
character in and of itself, the role is especially
challenging in that Dan is essentially playing a woman
portraying a man. Stan is a ruthless character hell-bent on
taking revenge on everyone in Salem who has wronged Sami
Brady in the past.
Wells' previous television roles include playing a sexy hunk
for the women of WB's "Gilmore Girls." He also starred in a
20th Century FOX pilot last year, "Venice Beach."
Prior to that, Wells portrayed several powerful characters
on the big screen including a cocky athlete, "Jake," in
MGM's summer release "Species III." The previous summer, Dan
co-starred opposite Veronica Mars' Jason Dohring in "Walking
on Water."
For the independent film festival circuit, Wells wrote,
produced, and co-starred in the dark and twisted short film,
"Down the Rabbit Hole," available at www.cineclix.com.
Dan grew up in Orange County, California and graduated from
Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He currently resides
in Los Angeles. Dan is a Christian at Rick Waren's
Saddleback Church and is active in charities that support
the prevention of cruelty to animals and environmental
protection. |
