Biography |
Clinton Paul, full name Clinton Paul Cilia, is no stranger
to the Maltese music scene. Though still in his early
twenties, he has written amazing hits over the past five
years. In his early teens he discovered his talent to write
poetry. His poems have appeared in various editions released
by poetry publishers in America and Europe; One of them
being, "The International Who's Who in Poetry" (Editor -
Howard Ely). However, he wanted to do more than just write
poetry. The love towards music led him to become what he is
today... One of Malta's Top Songwriters.
For Clinton, music is more than just sound. It is about
passion and expressing one's emotions. Each song has its own
personality and driving force. Born on the 20th of February
1983, Clinton has now developed a solid background in this
industry and is described as a credible writer of pop
lyrics. "I adapt the lyrics so as to be catchy, easy to
remember, making people sing about, but still retain
significant words, a meaningful whole", he spells out in a
local state interview.
Clinton has worked with several Top names, including Dance
Female Artist - Laurasound. From summer 2003 till now, he
has stood behind her growing success. Laura's songs,
including the debut hits Lucky Star and Like An Angel, have
captured the attention of most popular radio stations and
have consolidated the presence of the young talented artist
on the airwaves and in the clubs. |
