Biography |
Anson Mount is a U.S. actor who appeared in the Britney
Spears movie 'Crossroads'.
According to his publicist, Mount was reluctant to play the
role of Ben Kimble in "Crossroads (2002)" believing the
movie, and the role, was too cheesy and lame. However, while
working on the movie "City by the Sea (2002)", Robert DeNiro
encouraged Mount to take the part. During breaks from
filming "Sea", Mount and DeNiro would go over the script
from the movie; Mount reading his lines and DeNiro reading
Spears' lines.
Mount is part of the series Conviction(NBC) starting on
March 3rd 2006 in the role of Hernan.
